Account Manager

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an Account Manager to join their team. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships while managing projects, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, providing timely communication and support
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Manage customer projects from quotation through production and final delivery
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Production, Customer Service, and other internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met
• Monitor project timelines and provide customers with regular updates on project status
• Prepare and assist with customer quotations, proposals, and pricing information
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts and support new business development initiatives
• Resolve customer concerns by collaborating with internal teams and escalating issues when appropriate
• Maintain accurate customer information, account activity, and project updates within CRM systems
• Support sales forecasting, account planning, and business growth initiatives
• Participate in customer visits, meetings, and industry events as needed
• Promote a professional, customer-focused approach while representing the organization in all interactions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Two to five years of experience in account management, customer service, sales, project coordination, or a manufacturing support role
• Experience working in manufacturing environment or the office furniture industry preferred
• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional customer service
