Sales And Customer Service Representative
Summary of Key Objectives
- Responsible for sales and customer service activities; from representing the company on inbound customer contact to managing and growing a sales territory. Responsible for assisting Tech Support as needed with phone support. Works for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term goals in line with company vision and values. Provide leadership within the company's customer service channel by executing core performance responsibilities including: managing customer service duties, growth of sales territory, delivering business results and communicating territory-level business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Manage Sales Territory Regularly demonstrate the customer intelligence needed to grow territory. Create an annual sales plan and follow through with the action steps and goals in the plan. Execute an effective retention and growth strategy. Seasonal expectations to assist tech support with phone calls. Demonstrate Value to Customer Regularly demonstrate passion for creating value for customers. Communicate, with customers, a proven knowledge of products and internal resources to provide a solution to their business needs.
Ensure strong customer relationships through confident and genuine communication. Increase customer satisfaction as primary contact for inbound customer communication and appropriate maintenance of customer information. Drive Business Results Inspired to overcome objections with a proven ability to convince, persuade or influence customers to purchase products and services. Manage time and planning efficiently. Exhibit an understanding of how the Account Representative role directly impacts the company and its long-term strategic vision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to three years customer service and sales experience. Proven ability to effectively communicate with several types and levels of staff and external contacts, both in writing and verbally.
Position Travel Requirements
- No travel.
Typical Work Schedule
- Normal business hours Monday through Friday.
FLSA Status
- Hourly, non-exempt position: eligible for overtime pay.
Peak Work Time Requirements
- Position typically requires 40 hours per week. Peak work times include December through January, when additional hours may be necessary and minimal (possibly no) PTO is allowed. Daily hours may fluctuate outside of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM to accommodate extended hours.
Working Conditions
- General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed using standard office equipment.
