Inside Sales Representative

Shift 1 (United States of America)

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Correspond with customers as needed
• Maintain proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company’s operations
• Provides technical assistance to customers and/ or customer care
• Prepares reports as needed
• Initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts, services and/or special tools
• Arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required
• Performs the functions of a CSR to include initiating and following up with to sell or resolve problems, answer questions and correspondence, and complete reports
• Prepares, processes, reviews and monitors various documents such as purchase orders and other documents
• Contacts current and prospective customers to sell and explain products, perform account rounding and solicit new business within the market area
• Prepares and presents proposals and quotes and recommends products based on customer needs
• Assists customers and arranges payment terms in accordance with established guidelines
• Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions
• Creates and maintains computer files for follow-up action
• Provides advisory support and assistance to the department supervisor as needed
• Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team
• Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner
• Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary including weekends and holidays if deemed necessary by the company
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Education and Experience
• High School diploma is required
• Associate Degree preferred
• Past call center experience desired
• Past inside sales experience preferred

• Must have a positive attitude
• Must be well organized
• Must manage time well
• Must possess good math skills
• Must possess good decision making abilities
• Must possess business acumen
• Must have good negotiation skills
• Must be focused on relationships with inside and outside customers
