About UsAt Superior Services RSH , we keep businesses covered—literally. We are a 50-year-old leading commercial roofing contractor specializing in high-quality roof replacements, maintenance, and emergency repairs for warehouses, retail centers, office buildings, and industrial facilities. Our current goal is expanding, particularly in West Michigan and Southeast Michigan
We don’t just fix roofs; we’re looking for an energetic, curious, and motivated Commercial Sales Intern to join our team. If you want real-world sales experience in a tech-driven modern sales team, direct mentorship from industry top-producers, and a clear path to a lucrative career, you’re in the right place.
What You’ll DoThis is not a "get coffee and make copies" internship. You will be on the front lines of our business development efforts, learning the ins and outs of B2B (business-to-business) sales.
- Outreach & Relationship Building: Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, and Linked In to introduce our services and schedule assessments.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research local commercial property owners, property managers, and general contractors to build a pipeline of high-quality sales leads.
- Shadowing & Learning: Join senior Inside Sales Reps for training and Outside Sales Reps on-site for roof inspections, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
- CRM Management: Keep our sales database organized using Hub Spot, tracking customer interactions and follow-ups.
You don’t need to know anything about roofing yet—we will teach you all of that. We are looking for the right attitude and drive.
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Communication
Skills:
You are comfortable talking to strangers, have strong writing skills, and possess a high level of professional empathy. - Grit & Resilience: Sales involves hearing "no" before you get to "yes." You view challenges as learning opportunities.
- Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn new software, CRM databases, and Google Workspace/MS Office.
- Entrepreneurial:
Able to take the lead on projects after direction in an EOS environment that thrives on results and ideas. - Valid Driver's License: Reliable transportation is required, as you may occasionally travel to local job sites or client meetings.
- Real Earning Potential: A competitive base hourly rate with potential for growth.
- Mentorship: Direct, daily access to seasoned sales professionals who genuinely want to see you succeed.
- Career Pathway: A successful intern may transition into a high-paying, full-time Account Manager role upon graduation.
- Hands-on
Experience:
You’ll leave this internship with concrete B2B sales skills, negotiation tactics, and a strong understanding of the commercial construction industry.
