As an Inside Sales Coordinator
, you will support an Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) by owning the day-to-day execution for assigned customer accounts. This role is responsible for accurate and timely order entry, release entry, and forecasting entry; proactive communication of order status and ETAs; and tight coordination with internal fulfillment teams to ensure customer commitments are met.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own day-to-day execution for assigned customer accounts in partnership with the ISAM
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day point of contact for order status, execution questions, and routine customer requests; escalated commercial decisions to the ISAM as needed
  • Maintain strong customer communication through responsiveness, follow-through, and proactive updates
  • Coordinate daily with internal teams (Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Outside Processing, Quality, etc.) to execute orders and resolve issues impacting delivery
  • Perform timely, accurate order entry and ensure all required customer and internal details are captured
  • Enter and maintain release schedules (release entry) per customer requirements and communicate changes to internal stakeholders
  • Complete required forecasting entry (as applicable) and support forecasting discussions by ensuring data is accurate, timely, and clearly communicated
  • Prepare and distribute execution/status reporting for the ISAM and internal teams (e.g., open order status, past-due items, releases, and customer scorecard inputs)
  • Track and manage customer aging inventory and execution-related issues; escalated risk items and recommended actions to the ISAM
  • Review pricing, freight, and order details for accuracy; communicate discrepancies and obtain direction/approval from the ISAM when needed
  • Effectively utilize the ERP and reporting tools to track interactions, order status, and follow-ups; proactively communicate ETAs and changes to customers
  • Report to the Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM)
Qualifications:
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales support, supply chain, or business operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear and timely customer updates
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues, take ownership of follow-up, and escalated appropriately
  • Customer focused mindset with a service-oriented approach
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively across teams
  • Proficient with ERP/CRM systems and basic reporting tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations business systems (preferred)
