Job Description

Staff in this role play a critical frontline role in collecting accurate field data that drives regulatory decisions, remediation strategies, and client project outcomes. They conduct sampling, site inspections, and field measurements that ensure compliance and keep projects on track.

Success for this individual means delivering precise, defensible data, maintaining strong safety and quality standards, and adapting smoothly to changing site conditions. When they’re thriving, fieldwork is efficient and reports are accurate.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct soil boring and groundwater monitoring well drilling and sampling activities.
  • Groundwater monitoring and sample collection.
  • Soil gas monitoring point installation and sample collection.
  • Underground storage tank removal soil sampling and data collection.
  • Technical report production for the Petroleum / Remediation service line.
  • Support Phase II Environmental Site assessments for the Due Diligence Group.
  • Abide by Atlas’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Occasional response to environmental emergencies/spills.
