We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this on-site role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and products. Your contributions will help maintain a secure environment that supports our mission of delivering quality cannabis products.

• Saturday: 5am - 2pm
• Sunday: 5am - 2pm
• Monday: 2pm - 10pm
• Tuesday: 2pm - 10pm

• Patrol and maintain assigned areas and posts
• enforce compliance related rules and regulations
• Investigate and document violations of T.H.C. policies and procedures
• Monitor security video surveillance cameras, gate control
• Perform facility security and safety checks
• Conduct searches of employees, contractors, and guest, entering and exiting the facility
• Preform duties and ensure that T.H.V. safety and security policies and procedures are met.
• Monitor and direct traffic flow for curbside service
• Practice safe work habits to eliminate and control potential safety and health hazards and to maintain a safe work environment
• Attend all safety trainings as scheduled
• Other duties as requested by supervisors, managers, or other designated and/or authorized staff

• High School Diploma required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate situations
• Experience in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies
• Knowledge of law enforcement practices is a plus but not required
• First aid and CPR certification is advantageous
• Detailed oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Committed, honest, and reliable
