Our client, a leading organization in facility management and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Mobile HVACR Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVACR Technician , you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mobile HVACR Technician
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay Range: $35-$38/hr.
What's the Job?- Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility systems and equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Conduct inspections of interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting, to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed and update work order statuses in real time.
- Maintain a valid state driver’s license and be available for call-in work as needed to support facility operations.
- Universal EPA Certification.
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems such as rack refrigeration, walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.
- Willingness to join UFCW 951 and participate in ongoing training programs.
- Ability to study and become familiar with various equipment and operational methods required for daily activities.
