Applied Innovation is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician specializing in Production and High-Volume Equipment to join our growing service team. This full-time, Monday–Friday role (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) focuses on servicing, repairing, and maintaining production-class and high-speed devices exceeding 60 pages per minute at customer locations.
This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined problem solver who enjoys working with advanced print technology while delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates will receive comprehensive training and support. Applied Innovation provides a company vehicle, gas card, laptop, required tools, and ongoing professional development.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Repair, maintain, and service production and high-volume copier equipment (60+ ppm)
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical and technical issues.
- Perform scheduled and proactive preventative maintenance on production-class devices.
- Coordinate repair schedules and service updates directly with customers.
- Maintain accurate vehicle parts inventory and documentation for serviced equipment.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians, support teams, and manufacturer escalation channels.
- Follow all service procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Operate a company vehicle safely, courteously, and professionally.
- Represent Applied Innovation as a trusted, service-oriented professional at customer sites.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, particularly with high-volume print systems.
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with complex equipment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple service calls and plan work effectively.
- Customer-focused attitude and commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience with Ricoh production equipment preferred (but not required).
- Factory certifications (Ricoh, Canon, etc.) helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of print drivers, basic networking concepts, and workflow solutions preferred.
- Prior field service or technical repair experience strongly preferred.
