Wolverine Crane & Service is expanding in Romulus, MI and hiring a skilled Service Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, and hoists throughout the Metro Detroit area.
If you’re a mechanically inclined industrial technician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and earning strong overtime pay — while building ownership in the company you work for — we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do- Perform OSHA/ANSI crane inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
- Repair motors, brakes, controls, wire rope, and hoists
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls
- Complete professional service documentation
- 3+ years industrial maintenance, electrical, or field service experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Comfortable working at heights
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Valid chauffeur driver’s license and be insurable
- Some customers require extensive background checks
Crane experience is a plus — we will train the right industrial technician.
