Position TitleLead Controls Electrician
Position DescriptionThe Lead Controls Electrician serves as a team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment. This electrician is responsible for panel building and wiring of electrical components used on automation equipment projects.
Lead Responsibilities- Lead and guide electrical team members across multiple projects
- Monitor build progress to ensure timelines are met
- Act as the primary communicator for electrical status and open issues during the build process
- Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
- Build and wire custom panels and systems per design and spec
- Interpret and follow electrical schematics and customer documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Document changes and communicate updates throughout the build process
- Support project success by focusing on quality, cost, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams through all stages of the project
- Participate in on-site installations & support

- Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience wiring custom automated machinery
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to safety and detail
- Comfortable reading schematics and working with complex mechanical systems
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, One Note)
- Team player with strong communication and self‑direction
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (local, national, international)
$32.00 - $40.00/hour (Wage based on Experience)
Additional CompensationOvertime pay, travel pay
