Job Description
Master Tech is on the search for Heavy Equipment Technicians in the Grand Rapids, MI area. The successful Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction, forestry, agricultural, aerial, mining, etc.) in a shop setting.
Compensation- $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
- Comprehensive benefits plan, including medical, dental, vision, short & long-term disability (100% employer paid), etc.
- Retirement savings plan
- PTO
- Day shift, Monday to Friday. 7 AM start time.
- 2 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Completion of a Diesel Technology program preferred, not required
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience using diagnostic software (Cummins InSite, DDDL, JPro, CAT ET, Service Advisor, etc.)
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Valid driver's license, CDL preferred, not required
