Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Overview
Chop Tree Service and Procare Landscape are expanding our fleet maintenance department to keep pace with our rapidly growing fleet. We currently have openings for entry-level through master-level shop and/or mobile technicians to repair and maintain our fleet of medium-duty bucket trucks, wood chippers, stump grinders, side trimmers, skid steers, mulching mowers, snow removal equipment, salters, light-duty trucks, and more. The company provides shop tools, and technicians supply their hand/power tools and toolbox.
These positions require the ability to work some evenings and/or weekends as needed. We are open to discussing any flexibility needed in scheduling.

ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain our fleet of equipment, primarily in shop or field settings. Perform in-house repairs whenever cost-effective, and collaborate with team members to share repair knowledge. Work on most of our equipment as needed, with opportunities to learn from colleagues’ areas of specialization.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills- Shop/field repair experience
- Computer/tablet experience
- Repair certifications are a plus, but not required
- PM service experience
- Reasonable driving record (CDL is a plus)
- Welding/fabrication
