Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician – Any shift

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician – Any shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician – Any shift, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: GRAND RAPIDS, MI

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment, building, and production machines.
• Rebuild small components, hydraulic, robots, and pneumatic pumps as needed.
• Install small components and assist in the installation of new equipment.
• Operate support equipment such as air compressors and cooling towers.
• Monitor waste treatment systems and perform repairs when necessary.
• Perform some electrical work.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to two years of technical training or industrial maintenance experience preferred; entry level acceptable.
• Basic understanding of control prints for hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and basic tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
