At our senior living community, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will transform living spaces and enhance the overall aesthetic of our community. Your work will directly impact the comfort and happiness of our residents, making their home a place of warmth and joy.

• Order Materials as needed and in an efficient and effective manner.
• Perform repairs on various types of structures.
• Perform demolition work and prepare work area for new construction.
• Make recommendations of appropriate carpentry material usage, including code requirements for a healthcare facility.
• Assume responsibility for putting away stock deliveries.

• Minimum of 2 years of carpentry and repair experience is required.
• Knowledge in finish carpentry, hanging cabinets, installing crown, installing laminate countertops, and other similar tasks.
• Analytical ability to identify and resolve installation & repair problems.
• Proof of a valid Michigan driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance is required. The incumbent is also required to have a reliable means of transportation.

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with some flexibility in scheduling is available
• Full-Time, 40 hours per week
