HVAC Technician

One of our manufacturing client is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and related facility systems at their Grand Rapids, MI location.

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and air-handling equipment
• Diagnose HVAC system issues and complete repairs efficiently to minimize equipment downtime
• Service air conditioners, furnaces, boilers, chillers, rooftop units, air handlers, pumps, and related equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and control components associated with HVAC systems
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, airflow, and other system operating conditions
• Perform refrigerant-related service in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures
• Inspect HVAC equipment and identify potential problems before equipment failure occurs

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance and repair experience, preferably in industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and HVAC control systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
• Experience working with industrial HVAC equipment, chillers, boilers, or cooling towers
• Familiarity with building automation or HVAC control systems
