Treva is looking for an experienced Lead Cable Technician who is ready to take ownership, lead a crew, and grow their career.

You'll:
Lead and direct cable installation crews
Assign daily tasks and keep projects moving
Work directly with customers, contractors and project managers
Install, terminate, label and test structured cabling
Troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues
Read blueprints, floor plans and network diagrams
Maintain organized racks, cabinets, pathways and telecom rooms
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met Train and mentor junior technicians
Make sure projects are completed safely, correctly and on schedule WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOWWe're looking for someone with:2–5 years of structured cabling experience
At least 2 years leading crews or field projects
Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems
Experience with Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber and/or coax Ability to read construction drawings and technical documents
Strong troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to travel locally to customer sites
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on ladders, lifts and in construction environments EXPERIENCE THAT WILL SET YOU APART These are a PLUS, but not required:
BICSI certification OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
Fiber installation and testing
Access control systems
Security cameras
Wireless systems
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, healthcare or commercial environments THIS IS MORE THAN AN INSTALLER POSITION We're looking for someone who wants to lead, develop their skills and build a career.
