** Brief

Job Summary
** The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components supporting manufacturing equipment and facility operations. This position works with automated machinery, robotics, programmable controllers, motors, electrical controls, and related mechanical systems to minimize equipment downtime and support safe, efficient production.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Install electrical wiring, conduit, power supplies, controls, and related components for new and existing manufacturing machinery and equipment, including robots, conveyors, motors, and programmable controllers.
* Connect electrical power, control wiring, cables, and components between machines, equipment, and electrical systems.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions involving motors, transformers, relays, switches, sensors, lighting, control circuits, and other electrical components.
* Repair or replace faulty wiring, cables, motors, relays, switches, sensing devices, circuit boards, and other electrical or electronic components.
* Troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment using PLCs, robot controllers, teach pendants, and other diagnostic tools.
* Program, test, and adjust automated equipment and robotic systems as needed to identify malfunctions and verify repairs.
* Perform electrical troubleshooting on machinery to identify root causes of equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
* Collaborate with maintenance, tool room, engineering, and production personnel to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
* Repair, replace, and maintain electric motors and related components, including motor bearings and wiring.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
* Plan electrical layouts and install wiring, conduit, electrical panels, controls, and other electrical equipment throughout the facility.
* Assist with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems when required to support equipment operation.
* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
* Ensure electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company procedures.
* Maintain a safe and organized work area and follow established lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.## Qualifications
** Education and Experience
*** High school diploma or GED required.
* Journeyperson Electrician license required.
* One to three years of related industrial or manufacturing electrical experience and/or training required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
* Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, and automated manufacturing equipment.
* Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial robotics strongly preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
* Working knowledge of electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and applicable electrical codes.
* Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment is preferred.
