We're seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our growing team. This full-time role is hands-on and fast-paced, focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment and vehicles that keep GELOCK’s operations moving. You'll work with a wide range of heavy equipment in the shop and out in the field, helping ensure our team has safe, reliable equipment ready for every job. In this role, you’ll:

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, vehicles, trailers, and powered industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other equipment issues and provide effective, on-the-spot solutions to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as cranes, trucks, trailers, and other specialized industrial equipment.
• Work closely with the Operations team and other members of the Maintenance team to understand equipment needs, communicate job status, and quickly address mechanical issues or unexpected breakdowns that could impact a project.
• Complete routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance, identify potential problems before they become larger issues, and maintain accurate records of repairs and service performed.
• Support field operations by traveling to job sites when needed to troubleshoot, service, or repair equipment and help keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and work environment, while properly caring for tools, parts, vehicles, and equipment.
• Use your mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills to work independently while also collaborating with coworkers to safely and efficiently complete each job.
• Enjoy being active, working with your hands, and adapting to changing priorities. No two days are exactly alike, and you’ll have opportunities to work on unique and challenging equipment throughout the region.
• Bring your previous mechanical, diesel, hydraulic, electrical, or heavy-equipment experience and a desire to continue expanding your skills and equipment knowledge with the GELOCK team.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and diagnostic and repair practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and determine effective repairs
• Ability to safely operate, inspect, and test heavy equipment and vehicles
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and job conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Professional verbal and written communication skills with both customers and internal teams
• Ability to maintain a respectful, customer-oriented approach in all interactions
