SUPPORTIVE VISITATION AND FAMILY SUPPORT SUPERVISOR - GRAND RAPIDS, MI AREA
Do you have at least a Bachelor degree in Human Services with 4 years' of field experience working with multi-problem families? Some duties include the supervision and coordination of schedules and work activities for Foster Care Supportive Visitation staff in accordance with the Foster Care Supportive Visitation contract and applicable policy requirements: complete Bavolek Nurturing Parenting training and provide ongoing support and training to program staff;
utilize the Bavolek Nurturing Parenting model, monitor appropriate assessments and and reports for each case assigned to program staff. Consider this rewarding supervisory career opportunity.

This position has a pay rate oF between $48,000 - $52,000 annually.
Duties and Responsibilities- Complete Bavolek Nurturing Parenting training and provide ongoing support and training to program staff
- Utilize the Bavolek Nurturing Parenting model, monitor appropriate assessments and reports for each case assigned to team
- Provide on-going leadership to assigned staff in accordance with established policies and procedures. Partner with Human Resources in talent acquisition and retention efforts. Assist in preparation and implementation of relevant professional development, training and performance management. Facilitate team meetings and coordinate the daily activities of staff
- Monitor and adjust work schedule for Visit Coaches to meet client needs and service delivery requirements
- Provide liaison/coordination for foster care case managers, supervisor and visit coaches to address daily needs and changes
- Coordinate and provide supervision and transportation for foster children to and from family visits
- Supervise children during appointments either at home, office, or at other appropriate sites
- Observe, document, and report to case managers activity related to child, foster, and birth parents in accordance with center and division policy, contract requirements, etc
Licensure/Certification
- Master’s Degree in a human services field and at least one year of field experience working with multi-problem families;
OR - Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with at least four years of field experience working with multi-problem families
- At least one year of Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in parent coaching, child development or Nurturing Parent programs preferred
- Unrestricted valid driver’s license with good driving record. Reliable personal transportation suitable for safely transporting persons served; proof of current automobile insurance
