5 days ago Requisition Salary Range: $17.50 To $21.00 Hourly
Engage with and provide outreach services to youth and young adults ages 10‑24 who are experiencing unsafe and/or unstable housing. Services are client‑centered and delivered in the community through van outreach to encampments, community co‑locations, and other connections. The Street Outreach Specialist will, in addition to community outreach, coordinate additional services, present to, and maintain liaison relationships with schools and other community business/partners where youth are frequently located and/or that provide services to youth.
Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma‑informed care, hope, and cultural humility. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes, and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position/organization.
- Completion of High School or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and clean driving history
- Knowledge of and/or experience working with youth and young adults
