We’re seeking a Supervisor of Foster Care to support and develop a dedicated team of up to five caseworkers and a case aide serving children and families across the Grand Rapids, MI area. In this role, you’ll partner with a collaborative leadership team committed to mentorship, sustainable workloads, and meaningful outcomes for vulnerable youth.

What you’ll do:
- Provide weekly individual and team supervision
- Lead team meetings, training, and staff development
- Oversee child placement and caseload assignments
- Partner with licensing, courts, and DHS to ensure compliance
- Deliver case management services including counseling and referrals
- Support children, birth families, and foster families through placements
- Attend court hearings and ensure timely, accurate documentation
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to case management staff
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree + 4 years' experience (3 in child welfare required)
- Requires 3 years' experience of direct experience in foster care case management, licensing, or CPS; out of state experience could be potentially used
- Michigan social work licensure (preferred)
- Ability to provide on-call support as needed
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
