Qualifications and
Experience:
- Active Colorado SLP license required
- CCC-SLP credential preferred
- Prior experience in school settings working with K-8 age groups is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K8th grade students
- Provide therapy services that address a variety of speech and language needs, adapting strategies for each childs unique goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to deliver holistic care
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Engage actively in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team planning
- Offer guidance and resources to teachers and parents to reinforce therapy progress in and out of the classroom
This position offers a 24-hour work week across five days, allowing for a balanced professional and personal schedule.
