About the Opportunity:

Anthro Med Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in South Redford, MI. This is a full-time position for the  school year. As a School Social Worker with Anthro Med, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. Caseload and Environment:

• Targeted Caseload:
  General education elementary-aged students across one building.
• Focus:
  Supporting general education students and 504 plans. There is a full-time SSW in the building supporting the special education caseload that you will collaborate with.
• Dedicated Space:
  You will have a private, dedicated office space to conduct sessions and meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support.
• Push in to classrooms to provide therapy while supporting and collaborating with teachers.
• Work together with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize student success and safety.
• Facilitate small group and individual sessions.
• Lead and support the implementation of BIPs and FBAs.
• Participate in 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs.
• Support students and families in accessing community resources.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required)
• Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary: $60,000 - $78,000 salary based on experience and qualifications (paid weekly)
