Brightly is seeking a motivated, hands-on Senior Developer to join the Brightly technology team. We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer with extensive experience in AWS and Azure Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving our projects that utilize Microsoft Rush and Nest.js and run on AWS. Developers are responsible for building, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting clean, performant, and web standards compliant code.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features across the full stack
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable server-side applications using both C# and Node.js
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic through well-defined OpenAPI and/or Graph

  • Design and optimize database structures (SQL/No

    SQL) to ensure high performance and data integrity
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications in a timely manner
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement
  • Directly collaborate with designers
  • Work with a team that loves collaborative learning and teaching
What we’d like to see
  • Experience in a consulting or agency-based role collaborating with multiple clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Comfortable working in a distributed team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Rush, Nest.js and/or Nuxt.js is highly desirable
  • Passion for pixel-perfect front-end
  • Experience translating comps and wireframes into semantically correct HTML
  • Proven experience working with Cloud platforms
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
  • Compassion and empathy for our clients and their customers’ needs
  • A love of logic and problem solving
  • Working knowledge of developing for accessibility
  • Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles and translating into fluid and responsive templates
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Experience with using source/version control software to collaborate with fellow team members
  • Experience using Figma as a design reference and Jira for development task management
Nice to Have
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
