Software Engineering Lead; M​/F​/D

The Software Engineering Lead is a leadership position that guides multi-disciplinary team members in all aspects of software engineering including development, testing, commissioning, and support. This role reports to and supports a Software Engineering Manager in leading a multi-disciplinary group of team members in day-to-day task management, training, and career development.

• Provide dedicated training and mentorship to direct reports, fostering professional growth
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members for best practices
• Serve as a subject matter technical expert to the direct reports
• Perform as an individual contributor to assigned projects at a reduced capacity
• Collaborate with project team members to deliver high quality and successful software implementations that meet the business goals of the customer
• Write and review technical specifications for custom modifications

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
  
  3 plus years of software engineering experience. Experience leading teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members for best practices is preferred.
• Travel:
  Up to 25% domestic and international travel.
• Experience with integrated development environment(s) (IDEs)
• Strong understanding of TGW Systems processes and solution implementation
• Familiarity with software development principles, agile methods, unit testing, and automated and functional testing.
