Position Overview
Junior Software Developer:
We are seeking a motivated junior software developer to join our development team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow technical skills while contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web-based applications in an Agile/Scrum environment alongside experienced developers.
Responsibilities include developing and supporting RESTful and/or Graph
QL APIs, contributing to API documentation using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance and reliability, building backend services that integrate with databases and external systems, and participating in code reviews to follow best practices for clean, maintainable code. You will also support testing efforts (unit and integration testing), learn and understand system architecture and workflows, document processes, and contribute ideas for system improvements and scalability.
Collaboration with cross-functional team members in an Agile development environment is essential.
- Develop and support RESTful and/or Graph
QL APIs - Contribute to API documentation using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or in progress)
- Understanding of software development fundamentals and requirements gathering
- Exposure to full stack development technologies, including: HTML5, JavaScript, Type Script, CSS (TDD)
- Ability to perform unit and integration testing
- Experience or interest in using AI tools to support development and productivity
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
