The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $109,138-$174,225 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Assist in the design and development of real-time software applications. Write code for simple software components and plugins. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members. Debug and test software applications to ensure that they meet requirements and are free from defects. Design and develop software applications for real-time environments, ensuring that they are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.

Analyse user requirements and design software solutions to meet these requirements. Write high-quality code that is easy to maintain and extend. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate software components into larger systems. Work with software engineers, system architects, and project managers to ensure that software is delivered on time, within budget, and to specifications. Participate in peer review such as code design, test reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

Maintain and improve existing software applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes. Stay up to date with new technologies, software development tools, and best practices to ensure that software applications remain cutting-edge and competitive.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 3 years' experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation. Also requires 2 years of experience with developing WES/WCS code; C on Linux x86;
Linux and Unix; real-time environments;
Matflo supply chain software and its application to automated warehouse storage systems;
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) / Warehouse Control Systems (WCS); C programming language;
Automation and industrial systems integration; and System testing, commissioning, and go-live support.

Up to 20% travel required to various unanticipated locations. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 day per week. Must be based out of a Dematic Corp. office in Grand Rapids, MI (HQ);
Plano, TX; or Milwaukee, WI.
