As an Embedded Systems Engineer (C++) , you will play a key role in designing and developing the embedded platforms that power our advanced optical and measurement devices. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, creating reliable, secure, and high-performance solutions that directly impact our industry-leading products.
Working alongside experts in optics, electronics, mechanics, and software engineering, you'll contribute to innovative technologies that define the future of color science and precision instrumentation.
What You'll Do- Design and develop embedded firmware and electronics for advanced measurement systems.
- Create and maintain performance-critical C++ software for embedded Linux environments.
- Develop low-level drivers and hardware interface components.
- Build and execute automated unit and integration testing within CI/CD environments.
- Apply secure development principles and Security-by-Design practices.
- Support hardware lifecycle management, including component replacement and BSP/driver updates.
- Maintain and enhance existing embedded Linux and bare-metal firmware platforms.
- Analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot system behavior, and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Development, Project Management, and technical leaders around the globe.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing embedded products from concept through production.
- Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development and real-time systems.
- Experience working with embedded Linux platforms.
