Subvarsity Girls Lacrosse Coach

Catholic Central High School is seeking a passionate and experienced Subvarsity Girls Lacrosse Coach to lead our student-athletes on and off the court. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a commitment to player development, and the ability to build a positive, competitive, and faith-centered team culture.

• Assist the Head Varsity Coach in planning, organizing, and implementing all aspects of the program.
• Serve as the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity team, including practice planning, game preparation, and in-game management.
• Support the development and implementation of a unified program philosophy from freshman through varsity levels.
• Teach and reinforce fundamental skills, sport‑specific strategies, and conditioning appropriate to each level.
• Promote and model sportsmanship, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
• Monitor and support the academic progress, character development, and overall well‑being of student-athletes.
• Assist with scouting, film breakdown, and opponent preparation.
• Help coordinate team travel, equipment distribution, and uniform management.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, administration, and athletic department staff.
• Maintain compliance with school, conference, and state athletic association policies.
• Assist with offseason training, strength and conditioning programs, and summer development opportunities.
• Support program‑wide fundraising efforts and community engagement initiatives.
• Attend required athletic department meetings, professional development sessions, and school functions.
• Assist in supervising team activities, locker rooms, and transportation to ensure student safety.
• Help build and sustain positive relationships within the school community and with partner

• Previous lacrosse coaching experience required; high school or collegiate experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, techniques, and competitive strategy.
• Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes both athletically and personally.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must complete or hold required MHSAA coaching certifications.
