Part Time Van Delivery Driver

Gordon Food Service Store LLC at 5665 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI,  is hiring a Van Delivery Driver.

The role involves making timely and accurate deliveries of GFS products to wholesale customers and supporting store operations.

• Operate the delivery van safely and professionally.
• Accurately locate and pick orders in store for wholesale customers.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Process customer purchases through point‑of‑sale in store.
• Secure assets such as cash, checks, and merchandise following policies.
• Receive and merchandise products, maintain proper rotation, product quality, end‑cap, planogram execution, and keep freezer, cooler, and back‑room organized.

• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience.
• At least 1 year in customer service or related field (preferred).
• Unrestricted Standard Operators license.
• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years.
• Minimum age 18.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment checks, including a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Ability to use a two‑wheel cart with a load up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Store hours:
Monday–Saturday 7AM–8PM;
Sunday 9AM–6PM. Holidays: closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter.
