Job Title
Transport materials to and from specified destinations on public streets or highways. Drive diesel powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Drives truck to destination to meet customer requirements.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner under all circumstances.
- Have knowledge of and compliance with company policy and all federal, state, local laws and regulations governing the operation of company equipment
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
- Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations
- Prepares receipts for load picked up.
- Maintains contact with supervisor or dispatcher to receive delivery instructions.
- Loads and unloads truck protecting the load and equipment.
- Inspects truck & trailer equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
- Positions blocks and secures cargo during transit.
- Report all accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Prepares and submits daily paperwork that is legible.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

One year of related experience and/or training;
Current valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A License with a HAZMAT endorsement and passage of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations exam and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). promptly to customer needs;
