Class A CDL Driver – Joliet, IL $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

We're hiring Class A CDL drivers for a local route based in Joliet, IL — delivering to retail stores across IL, WI, IN, MI, IA, and KY. This is a driver-unload position, so expect to be hands‑on with stacked freight throughout the shift.

Summer bonus running now: From 5/18/26 through 8/15/26, drivers who stay available all week and keep pulling loads can pick up an extra $337.50/week, paid out on 7/3/26 and 8/21/26. To qualify, you'll need to be trained and actively running loads by 7/27/26, still employed at payout time, and shop time during that week disqualifies you from that week's bonus.

Route basics:

• Trucks stay parked at the terminal or DC — no home parking for this account
• 34‑hour reset weekly, though weekends off aren't guaranteed
• Availability needed Sunday through Saturday, with actual workdays shifting based on delivery routing near your reset location
• Roughly 800–1,000 miles a week
• Runs on Internationals and Freightliners

Training is a 2‑day ride‑along with an experienced driver, paid at $150/day.

Pay breakdown:

• CPM rises with tenure: $0.82 (0–11 mo), $0.83 (12–23 mo), $0.84 (24–35 mo), $0.85 (36+ mo)
• All‑in rate around $1.80/mile once accessorials are added
• $245 per unloaded trailer, $70 per backhaul, $25 per stop
• Drivers typically bring home $1,500–$1,700 weekly, translating to $75k–$100k a year, with top earners clearing $2,000+ weekly

What we're looking for:

• Steady patience and solid people skills for store‑level interactions
• Physically capable of unloading stacked freight safely — training covers proper technique
• Flexible schedule, since shifts shift with delivery demand
• Come to orientation with two weeks of personal supplies ready

Sign‑on bonus – $2,500 total:
1st load $250, 30 days $250, 60 days $250, 90 days $500, 120 days $250, 150 days $250, 180 days $750. Payouts require being an active driver with us on each date.

Also included: On‑site support staff and paid vacation building from 1 week after year one to 4 weeks by year ten.
