Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Grand Rapids, MI for a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Pay rate is $27.00 per hour with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is 1st shift, starting between 2:00am - 8:00am or 8:00am - 11:00am, Monday - Friday. No weekend work! Drivers will work 10 - 12 hours per day. (Approximately 50 hours per week)

Our CDL Class A Drivers are the backbone of our operation—serving as the face of our company while delivering product from our Grand Rapids, MI location to various suburbs throughout MI and Chicago, IL suburbs.

This is a local driving position, allowing you to be home every night, with consistent routes and a supportive, safety-first culture.

What You'll Do
-Safely operate a Class A semi-tractor trailer with an automatic transmission hauling a 53' dry van trailer.

-Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.

-Assist with live Un/loading of steel drum barrels, 2-3 stops per day.

-Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to traffic, weather, and logistical updates.

-Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and all other necessary documentation.

-Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.

-Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.

-Promptly report mechanical issues, incidents, or safety concerns.

-Keep your assigned vehicle clean, organized, and inspection-ready.

What We're Looking For
-Valid CDL Class A license
-2+ years of CDL-A driving experience
-Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
-Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
-Solid understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards
-Comfortable operating commercial vehicles in varying conditions
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-High attention to detail and accountability.
