Warehouse Specialist – Grand Rapids, MI

Exciting opportunity – located in Grand Rapids, MI, come to work as a Warehouse Specialist during day shift with no weekends and benefits.

• Shipping, handling, sorting, counting, and packaging of materials.
• Operating industrial powered lift equipment.
• Conducting or assisting with physical inventory counts.
• Maintaining work area and following procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Unloading inbound freight from carriers.
• Checking for shipping damage.
• Using barcode scanners to verify inbound shipments and customer orders.
• Completing required paperwork and forwarding it to Inventory Control.
• Assisting other staff in resolving discrepancies discovered during receiving.
• Preparing material for shipment in accordance with customers', truckers', or drivers' requirements, balancing and marking pallets.
• Wrapping orders on pallets for shipment.
• Restocking warehouse according to Inventory Manager’s guidelines and practices.

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred; experience operating a hi‑lo is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Stand‑up reach forklift experience a plus.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
