1st Shift Shipping Clerk

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm

Pay Rate: $16 an hour

Shipping Clerk accurately processes, packs, and ships ophthalmic lab orders and eyewear products. Responsibilities include scanning product trays, matching invoices, wrapping finished jobs, sorting by account numbers, and applying shipping labels in a fast-paced environment.

** Key Responsibilities*

** Shipping & Invoicing:
** Scan work trays to generate invoices, match invoices numerically to tray numbers, wrap finished optical jobs, sort by account numbers, and close/label boxes for dispatch.

** Frame Management & Receiving:
** Match incoming frames to pending work orders, verify contents, and organize components for timely laboratory processing.

** Frame Tracing (Lab specific):
** Operate lens-tracing machines, remove lenses from frames when necessary, and mark/calibrate for axis orientation.

** Inventory Support:
** Assist with putting stock away, picking correct lenses using work tickets, and maintaining general organization in the distribution area.

** Qualifications & Requirements*

* Experience:

** 6 months or more of distribution, warehouse, or logistics experience. High school diploma or GED preferred.

** Physical:
** Ability to stand or walk for 8 to 10 hours, perform repetitive hand/wrist motions, and lift up to 35-50 pounds.

* Skills:

** Basic computer literacy, strong attention to detail, and good numerical sequencing/matching skills. Flexibility for overtime as needed.

** Pay Details:**  $16.00 per hour
