Warehouse Associate

A distribution company for furniture and home items such as fitness equipment, electronics, and appliances is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This is a physically demanding job in a fast-paced environment where you are always on the move. You could be moving, staging, loading, unloading, assembling items, or keeping the warehouse clean, neat, and organized.

• Loading and unloading trailers
• Pull orders and stage orders
• Organizing and stocking materials in the warehouse
• Stacking boxes of furniture on top of each other for storage
• Moving items primarily by hand, hand dolly, hand cart, pallet jack
• Utilize RF Scanners, electronic scanners
• Verify that orders are correct that are moving throughout the order process
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized using 5S principles
• Maintain inventory accuracy
• Loading trash and cardboard into compactor
• May also operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks
• Flexible to work in any area of the warehouse

• 1st shift Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with some OT Saturdays 7:00am-11:00am
• $17.50/HR

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be able to lift, move, and maneuver large furniture and home items, assisted or unassisted, for the duration of the shift
• Able to stand and walk for duration of the shift
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
• Able to use a scanner
• Attention to detail
• Excellent attendance
• Someone who takes pride in their work and is dependable and reliable
