We are looking for a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and ensuring materials move efficiently throughout the operation.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to operational success by managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, material movement, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, customer-focused, and committed to providing excellent service to both internal teams and external customers.

What You’ll Do:
  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and communicate discrepancies related to quantity, quality, specifications, or damaged materials.
  • Execute inventory transactions within the ERP system and maintain accurate records of all material movements.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse and stockroom locations using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring products are packaged securely and appropriately for transportation methods such as ground, air, or ocean freight.
  • Generate packing lists, shipping documents, labels, and other required documentation.
  • Tag, identify, and stage materials, parts, and finished goods according to project and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Restock and return unused materials from production or project activities to inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to purchasing and supply chain teams.
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and special projects as required.
  • Support a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following established quality and safety procedures.
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, materials management, or a related field.
  • Experience working within ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to safely operate, or obtain certification to operate, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain any required driving certifications or endorsements.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport materials safely in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • What Makes You a Great Fit
You enjoy creating order and efficiency in a busy operation.
  • You take ownership of inventory accuracy and understand the impact it has on production and customer satisfaction.
  • You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues before they become problems.
