Terms Of Employment: Teaching Agreement, salaried position, 1.0 FTE.
Reports To: Superintendent.
Teaching Agreement, salaried position, 1.0 FTE. School Year, plus 5 days. Starting Pay: $45,988 to $90,185 depending on education and previous experience.

Job SummaryThe Curriculum Implementation Specialist provides leadership in the district's curriculum adoption, implementation processes, and instruction in his or her curricular area(s). This role involves guiding teams to adopt high-quality instructional materials and practices, aligning district goals, the Grand Rapids Area Schools Curriculum Adoption Process, and the Multi-Year Curricular Review Cycle with Minnesota state standards. Collaborating closely with teachers, principals, and district leadership, the individual will strengthen instruction, model effective practices, build teacher capacity, and support the implementation of district wide curriculum initiatives.
The role includes planning, modeling, coaching, and facilitating professional learning, as well as supporting the integration of technology to enhance instruction, primarily in the area of K-12 Mathematics, but also Science.
- Lead curriculum adoption, implementation processes, and instructional improvement within the assigned curricular area(s).
- Guide teams to adopt high-quality instructional materials and practices.
- Align district goals with the Grand Rapids Area Schools Curriculum Adoption Process and the Multi-Year Curricular Review Cycle to Minnesota standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, principals, and district leadership to strengthen instruction and model effective practices.
- Build teacher capacity and support district wide curriculum initiatives.
- Plan, model, coach, and facilitate professional learning.
- Support the integration of technology to enhance instruction.
- Primary focus areas include K-12 Mathematics, with additional responsibility in Science.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Education.
Licensure/Certification: Minnesota teaching license in Math or Science preferred.
