Communications/Language Arts Teacher
ISD #316, Greenway Public Schools, is accepting applications for a Communications/Language Arts Teacher at Greenway High School. MN License in 7-12 Communications/Language Arts preferred. Job requirements/preferences include a Minnesota 7-12 Communications/Language Arts license, experience working within a rural community, demonstrated successful experience as a classroom teacher, experience with formative assessment, understanding and demonstrated success in development and implementation of differentiated instruction.
Other life and career experiences in the field are a bonus to support partnerships with local colleges along with interest in teaching College in the Schools level courses if qualified. General responsibilities include using effective instructional strategies to develop in each pupil an awareness of the role of Communication/Language Arts in economic and social progress; to motivate each pupil to acquire knowledge of facts and principles and skills utilizing Communication/Language Arts in problem solving. Willingness to partner with colleagues in multi-disciplinary approaches as well as participate in College In the School offerings through the local community college.
