Description
Are you passionate about supporting mental health and helping individuals thrive? Join our team as a Mental Health Practitioner, where you'll work directly with clients to provide skills training, coordinate care, and empower families. Under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in improving the well‑being and daily functioning of those we serve.
What You’ll Do:Client Support & Family Engagement
- Develop and implement personalized mental health treatment plans (approved by the Clinical Supervisor).
- Provide individual and group skills training to enhance emotional and behavioral functioning.
- Offer resources and education to clients and families to support personal growth.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to mandatory reporting laws to ensure client safety.
- Work closely with families and community partners to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Build strong, professional relationships with outside agencies on behalf of the client.
- Effectively communicate (both written and verbal) to advocate for client needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Stay up to date with continuing education and training as required.
- Ensure all paperwork and billing documentation meet compliance standards.
- Make a real impact in the lives of clients and their families.

In addition to meeting the qualifications for a Mental Health Practitioner, the ideal candidate must possess:
- Strong knowledge of parenting skills, child care methods, child development, home management, and housekeeping.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Good decision‑making abilities and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and interviewing skills.
- Ability to engage with resistant clients in a non‑judgmental manner, respecting diverse lifestyles and economic backgrounds.
- A genuine desire to work with high‑risk youth and families in crisis.
