- Drive to client sites as scheduled and promptly communicate delays to the Service Coordinator
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve onsite workstation and printer issues
- Provide onsite support for connectivity issues involving ISPs, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RDS, and Citrix
- Educate and guide clients on technical standards and best practices
- Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets
- Recommend improvements to supported hardware and software
- Maintain accurate real-time timesheets
- Record complete and accurate troubleshooting and client communication notes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Provide hands-on support at client sites across hardware, software, and networks
- Ensure timely technical issue resolution and consistent client communication
- Follow the VC3 Way standards and processes
- Full-time access to a vehicle
- Valid driver's license with no driving restrictions
- Business class insurance for the vehicle if residing in Canada
- 2 years of relevant technical experience OR 1 year of experience in Service Technician I or II roles at VC3
- 2 years of experience managing Windows Client Operating Systems 10 and 11
- 2 years of experience managing Microsoft/Office 365
- 2 years of experience managing virus and security systems
- 2 years of experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
- Must meet Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) requirements post-employment
- Must pass criminal and Department of Motor Vehicles background checks
Demonstrates expertise in installing and configuring computer hardware and software, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and providing onsite technical support. Proficient in managing Windows Client Operating Systems and Microsoft/Office 365 while ensuring compliance with Criminal Justice Information Systems requirements.
