Cleaning Technician

A Cleaning Technician at SERVPRO cleans and restores homes and other property after damage from fire, water, smoke, mold or sewage. They also prepare rooms for work and respond to emergencies.

• Clean, restore and deodorize contents and property
• Take pictures of contents before and after washing
• Load and inventory work vehicles with equipment, supplies, and products
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle
• Respond to emergencies, such as water and fire damage
• Help with assessments and restoration plans
• Communicate with clients about concerns and the restoration process
• Communicate safety hazards and job site findings with supervisors
• Thorough understanding of water, smoke, and mold removal procedures and equipment used. (Training will be provided)
• Light Office cleaning as needed

• Strong work ethic
• Honest and accountable
• Detail oriented is a must
• Strong oral communication skills
• Background in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred
• IICRC certification is a plus
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts

• Occasionally - Lifting objects/property
• Constant
  - Walking, standing and working with your hands

This is a full-time position, daytime, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires longer hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
