1. Equivalent of 1 year full-time minimum Labor & Delivery experience.
2. Completion of Fetal Heart Monitoring course preferred. 3. 1 year Med Surg experience.

Description:

Unit Notes:
Rotating days/nights with a weekday/weekend rotation. We average about 25-33 births per month. There are 6 birthing suites and 4 postpartum/surgical rooms for a total of 10 rooms. The team includes 3 OB/GYNs and 4 Family Practice physicians who perform deliveries. A Lactation Consultant is available 3 days a week. Each nurse is assigned to 1 labor patient and up to 2 mothers and babies, with the possibility of 3 mothers and babies t births are not high risk and are transferred when necessary.

Nurses do not circulate on C-Sections but assist with newborn care. The work environment offers an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful location with recreational activities and a strong sense of community. The facility operates with a commitment to patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
