Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide compassionate and high-quality care in a busy Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions to determine appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and provide interventions such as artline cases, CVP monitoring, Bi-Paps, and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, BLS, and ACLS standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and active RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of ER or ICU experience.
• Be BLS and ACLS certified upon hire.
• Demonstrate proficiency in acute care interventions and trauma procedures.
• Have experience working in a rural or community hospital setting.
• Be able to work weekends, with options for every weekend shift, 3 out of 4 weekends, or every other weekend.
