We care for patients with different diagnosis including but not limited to:
Acute Myocardial Infarction, Congestive Heart Failure, Post-Trauma, Shock, Diabetic Keto acidosis, Acute Croup and Surgical Patients.
Job Duties:
Required Qualifications:
- Registered with the Minnesota Board of Nursing. BSN preferred.
- Equivalent of one (1) year Critical Care experience or two (2) years Medical Surgical experience within the past five years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required and maintain certification.
- Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) or attain certification within six months of employment and maintains certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Comprehensive Advance Life Support (CALS) certification or attain certification within 12 months of initial orientation in the emergency department and maintain certification.
- ECG recognition/interpretation within six months of employment.
* If no candidates meet the above requirements, consideration will be given to those with one (1) years relevant Medical/Surgical experience OR 6 months of relevant Critical Care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) CCRN certification preferred.

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
