Summary:

Reporting to the site General Manager, the Director of Operations will manage the daily production, inventory, supply chain, continuous improvement, and logistics to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery to our customers. They are responsible for development and implementation of strategy, growth, and profitability targets for the PSG Grand Terrace facility and the PSG North Hollywood facility.

They will have direct ownership for established safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement objectives. Additional areas of reasonability include but are not limited to the oversight of:
Safety, Manufacturing Operations (Machine Shop and Assembly), Supply Chain, Capital Equipment, Facilities Management, Workforce Development, and Operations Strategy Deployment.

A successful individual will deploy and maintain strong operational processes, be data driven, drive continuous improvement, and empower their team to solve problems.

Education/

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, or a related field is required.

MBA/Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or other operational leadership role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience in a build to order/high-mix manufacturing environment required

Proven background in the application of production/inventory control, procurement procedures and techniques, and logistics.
