Graphic Designer

Position: City Graphic Designer
Enhance visual communication for the City of Grande Prairie as a Graphic Designer. This role blends digital and print design, ensuring brand consistency across various platforms.

As a Graphic Designer, you will serve as a corporate resource for design projects, facilitating both internal and external communications. This role requires a minimum of four years of recent graphic design experience, alongside a detailed understanding of Adobe’s Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. You will create visual assets, manage projects, and contribute to department initiatives while providing technical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop print and digital visual communication assets

• Facilitate and coordinate design projects with departments

• Create charts, slides, and infographics based on data

• Manage multiple projects and adjust to timelines

• Ensure quality control to uphold the City’s brand

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in graphic design or related field

• At least four years of graphic design experience

• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

• Strong project management and client management skills

• Knowledge of Canadian copyright laws and design processes
