As a vital part of the CBC News team, your role will involve independently producing stories that accurately reflect the diverse experiences of Albertans. You will engage with the community and collaborate with colleagues to ensure stories resonate and uphold CBC's commitment to integrity and inclusiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create original stories for various media platforms
• Respond rapidly to unfolding news events
• Provide exclusive and high-quality reporting consistently
• Build collaborative relationships within the community
• Work with teammates on planned and coordinated coverage
Requirements:
• At least three years of journalism experience
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Excellent writing skills in English and French
• Familiarity with digital storytelling formats
• Possession of a valid driver's license
