Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver successful outcome of projects with various complexities concurrently aligned with internal processes, involving both local and international teams.
  • Develop and achieve project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders to deliver high quality project outcome leading to desirable solutions.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, priorities, budgets, timelines and resource allocation to produce the required end-to-end outcome as specified in project development offer through a big picture view and provide transparency in reporting to all stakeholders, inclusive of project team.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration across functions and departments to ensure a motivated and aligned team throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Define and mitigate risk, conflict, ambiguity, and critical path challenges to ensure strategic alignment, timely delivery, and sustainable project success.
  • Lead through expertise in both internal and external product development process and serve as subject matter expert to ensure consistent understanding of product development process when applied in different business units to achieve an aligned project outcome and meeting audit requirements.
  • Control and manage proper transition of project from development to lifecycle phase from alignment together with agreed outcome with all stakeholders.
Job Specification
  • Diploma, Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering, Embedded Systems or equivalent field of study.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II / Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification or equivalent is highly desired.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience with at least 3 projects from Concept to Launch in a R&D product development environment involving electronics, firmware, software and mechanical development.
  • Up-to-date knowledge on best practices and various methodologies of project management.
  • Strong knowledge on risk management with ability to conduct risk assessments, monitor risk, develop and realise mitigation plans.
  • Good knowhow of industry-specific technologies and broad aspect on product’s business insight is highly desirable.
  • Good written and verbal presentation & communication skills including providing concise summary to stakeholders.
  • Ability to instill the right culture, good practices, build trust and motivation within project team.
